Numeratr ("we") is run by [Your full name or business name], [city, state]. This policy explains what we collect when you use numeratr.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Numeratr is used by children, so we collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- If you only use the lessons without signing in: nothing leaves your device. Progress is stored in your browser.
- A parent account: the parent's email address (or the Google account email used to sign in).
- Child profiles: a first name and a class (8, 9 or 10). We do not ask for a child's surname, age, school, photo, phone or email.
- Learning progress: lessons finished, stars, test and exercise scores, so they are saved across devices.
- Payments: the order, amount, date and the payment reference from Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach us.
- Consent record: the date a parent accepted this policy and our Terms.
Why we use it
- To provide the service: sign-in, saving progress, and unlocking passes you have paid for.
- To answer your messages and handle refunds.
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping payment records for tax purposes.
We do not show advertisements, we do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not track children across other websites or build advertising profiles.
Children
A parent or guardian creates the account and adds each child. By adding a child, the parent confirms they are the child's parent or guardian and consents to us processing the child's first name, class and progress for the purposes above. A child can use the lessons without an account.
Where it is stored and who processes it
- Supabase (database and sign-in), on servers in India (Mumbai region).
- Cloudflare (hosting and, if enabled, cookie-free visitor counts).
- Razorpay (payments), under its own privacy policy.
- Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google".
How long we keep it
Account, profile and progress data are kept while the account is open. When you delete the account, we delete them within 30 days. Payment records are kept for 8 years as required by Indian tax law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to [support email]. Withdrawing consent deletes the child profiles and progress; the lessons stay available without an account. We reply within 7 days.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Each parent can only read their own records, enforced in the database itself.
